Pets
Fur and uneven outlines
Pet photos can contain thousands of fine strands. Use the general Fast model, then inspect the exported edge over both light and dark backgrounds.
Quality check: Check whiskers, ears, tail fur, and areas where fur matches the background.
Products
Catalog and marketplace images
Remove a distracting desk or room, then keep transparency or choose a consistent white or brand-color background.
Quality check: Check handles, cables, product holes, pale packaging, and shadows you intend to keep.
ID photos
White and blue background changes
Replace a plain portrait background with white, blue, gray, or a custom color without uploading the photo to an image-processing server.
Quality check: Confirm the exact color, dimensions, head position, and rules required by the receiving organization.
Busy scenes
People in complex surroundings
High contrast between the subject and the scene usually helps. The general Fast model cannot guarantee a perfect mask in every crowd or pattern, so inspect the result before use.
Quality check: Check objects crossing the body, similar colors, narrow gaps, and background people.
Transparent edges
Veils, glass, smoke, and soft materials
Semi-transparent objects are a difficult class for compact browser models. Test the exported PNG over both light and dark backgrounds before using it.
Quality check: Check halos, missing translucency, reflections, motion blur, and color spill.
